Unity Hand Tracking


This project implements a novel framework, which allows the animator to pose a 3D character using his own physical hand movements. For hand tracking we combine a sensor glove with the LeapMotion device. The sensor glove captures the rotation of the wrist and finger joints while LeapMotion tracks the global position of the hand. Furthermore, the glove contains a vibrational motor that can be activated to simulate a sense of touch.
